Emma's Is 7!

Emma turned 7 on Friday! She requested lemon cupcakes with pink frosting for her treat at school. I wasn't sure if the class would really like lemon cupcakes, but I played along and they were a hit.

Emma chose Noah to hand out napkins and Vero to help her hand out cupcakes. She also got to wear a pair of gloves to keep germs away. She loved the gloves!

We did not get Emma a birthday gift since we had already taken her to the American Girl Place in August for her birthday. We did however want to do something fun so we went to America's Incredible Pizza! This place is like Chuck E. Cheese for big kids!

Emma's favorite game, basketball. With a little help she could get the most tickets with this game. It is all about getting the most tickets.

Then you feed your tickets into this machine. It counts them while it is sucking them up. Then you get a receipt to spend in the store. We figured out the ratio of dollar to prize is about $20 to $1. Meaning that we would spend about $20 on games to equal one dollar store prize. Oh well...once a year! They left with bracelets, erasers and Nerds! Everyone was happy.

Happy Birthday Emma. We love you and can't believe you are a 7 year old. We praise God for the joy you bring to our family. You are always good for a laugh or a cry and we can't wait to see what this year holds for you!
