Our own olympics!

We are really enjoying watching the winter olympics this year as a family. But it is not as exciting as our very own winter olympics we had going on this week.

I introduce to you Emma. She is our gymnast. She definitely deserves the gold for her choice of outfit and her self-expression. She is sure to wow you in her foam pit routine!

Next is Claire. She is our swimmer. She is dedicated to her sport, practicing 2 times a week all winter. It has paid off. She has an awesome breast stroke! She had 2 meets this week and did awesome!
backstroke
9 year-old girls with fingers in their mouths can only mean one thing. NERVOUS!
She is ready to go!
Her butterfly

She is a real champ! Between the 2 meets she was awarded 2 first place ribbons both for breaststroke, 2 second place ribbons both for freestyle, and 1 third place ribbon for backstroke.

Our final athlete is Sam. He is our basketball player. He plays for the CCS Lions who have had a trying year. Today was his last game and although they did not win, he continues to play hard. Please note his amount of concentration. When you can play basketball with your tongue out you are destined to do great things!

Sam is a classy player with excellent sportsmanship. He is never a sore loser. We love this about him.

Go USA! Go Smouts!
